AOAO Foundation Report

2018 – A Good Year!
By Gary Ulrich, DO, FAOAO
President, AOAO Foundation

It has been an extremely productive year! The AOAO Foundation continues to strive to uphold its mission of supporting osteopathic orthopedic research and education.

After several months of research and negotiations with three major publishers, the John H. Drabing Virtual Library became a reality this year. The Foundation also established a $5,000 osteopathic orthopedic research grant and developed three new recognition awards.

We will continue to explore ways in which to obtain funding and support for our various projects and scholarships.

The Board of Directors is committed to increasing the Foundation’s presence and its ability to fund worthy projects and endeavors.  I would like to thank those who have generously supported the Foundation through direct donations, or by participating in the charity golf tournament and dinner this year.

If you have not done so, please consider a year-end donation so that we may continue our work. Happy holidays and I will continue to update you as new Foundation opportunities and projects come to fruition.
