Health Volunteers Overseas© Recent Initiative

In the summer, HVO published a peer-reviewed eBook in partnership with Frontiers in Public Health and, in the announcement below, you’ll see we are launching an e-volunteering initiative to foster new ways of providing training and education to our colleagues abroad.

All of this is in addition to our core programming efforts of our many committed volunteers who serve in 95 projects across 19 clinical specialties, in 27 countries around the world.

Together, with our partners in over 100 institutions, we are working to provide more trained health workers providing quality care to their communities, which leads to better patient care.

For more information on this and other HVO initiatives or to get involved go to https://hvousa.org/.
