Residents and Students

New Resident AOAO Board
By James Phillips, DO, PGY5
President, RAOAO

On behalf of my fellow Board members, I’d like to take this opportunity to make you all aware of our role in the AOAO. As DO orthopedic residents, we are all part of a small but important organization that represents our present and future place in medicine. We residents represent the future of Osteopathic orthopedics and as such are crucial in developing, growing, and maintaining a unified voice and direction.

The President of the RAOAO sits on the full Board of Directors for the AOAO and represents the residents in that forum. As the residency landscape continues to evolve, that representation will continue to become more important. With that in mind, I want to introduce the RAOAO board members to you.

President:
James Phillips, DO, PGY5
KCU/St. Marys Medical Center
Kansas City, MO

Vice President:
Gil Gomez, DO, PGY4
Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital
Columbus, GA

Secretary/Treasurer:
Kyle Busch, DO, PGY3
KCU/St. Mary’s Medical Center
Kansas City, MO

We are all willing and available to answer any questions or assist in any concerns you have. Please feel free to email any questions, concerns, or topics you want brought to the attention of the RAOAO or AOAO board.

Email: RAOAOBoard@gmail.com

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
