RAOAO Updates
By Kyle J. Busch, DO, MS PGY-5

Kyle J. Busch, DO, MS

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Kyle Busch and I am the newly appointed President of the RAOAO for this upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. I am incredibly excited and honored to be moving into this position. I have greatly enjoyed participating In the RAOAO these past couple years.

I am joined by Brian Handal, PGY-4 from Grandview Medical Center, serving as  Vice President and Andrea Attenasio, PGY- 3, from Jersey Medical Center as the newly selected Secretary/Treasurer.

As we slowly work towards moving from a virtual landscape COVID has forced upon us, I do feel there were some silver linings.   Being immersed in these virtual interactions has opened up opportunities, which gave us new avenues of interaction and relaying Information.  The RAOAO, in conjunction with the SAOAO, has elected to continue with a virtual lecture series on a variety of topics geared towards students interested in pursuing orthopedics. Also, the RAOAO looks forward to continuing to assist the AOAO in its compilation and formation of the new virtual library.

The RAOAO executive committee hopes to continue with the great leadership and vision those before us have established. I am excited to meet and work with everyone in Louisville!
